I was disappointed in some aspects of the food, using beef dripping but not a hint of dripping taste (which the Roebuck Inn, East Sussex, Laughton do dripping chips fantastically if you find yourself down that way.) And the small portion of fish really is small, although not a complaint as it was possibly one of the best pieces of cod I've had in my life. It was a shame that I found the enthusiasm of the staff that served me to be rather lacking. although will be popping in again on passing.
